Brain injury is an injury caused by external forces acting directly or indirectly on the skull. Craniocerebral injuries are mostly seen in traffic and industrial accidents, natural disasters, explosions, firearm injuries, falls and various sharp and blunt force injuries to the head. Craniocerebral injury includes scalp injury, cranial injury and brain injury, of which the prognosis plays a decisive role is the degree of brain injury and its treatment effect. The brain is the nerve center of the human body, is the human consciousness and activities of the “command”. Brain tissue is white jelly, and therefore the most fragile, once damaged, it is difficult to regenerate or repair. If the brain injury is not treated in time or treated incorrectly, it can result in hemiplegia, paraplegia, or even death. Clinical experience tells us that the treatment of craniocerebral injury patients should master the following five principles: 1, in the rescue scene to first rescue the unconscious patient, the patient must promptly remove the secretions in the respiratory tract to ensure that its respiratory tract is unobstructed. If vomiting occurs, turn the patient’s head to the side to avoid blocking the airway with vomitus. 2. Pay attention to whether other parts of the body are also damaged. 3.The scalp is rich in blood vessels and bleeding will be violent, the wound should be quickly bandaged to stop the bleeding. 4.For simple scalp hematoma, do not rub and press the injured part, do not use blood-activating drugs, and then apply hot compresses to it or give the patient blood-activating drugs after 24 hours. To avoid infection, puncture and aspiration of the hematoma is generally not performed. 5. After the patient is taken to the hospital, in addition to making the necessary dispositions, a CT scan of the head should be done to clarify the diagnosis as soon as possible.
