How to relieve body aches after swimming

Generalized soreness after swimming is mainly due to the accumulation of lactic acid that irritates the muscles after not swimming for a long time or not warming up sufficiently before swimming. It can be relieved by rest, hot bath, physiotherapy and medication.
1. Rest: Get enough rest and minimize activities.
2. Hot baths: Hot baths can relieve the symptoms of generalized soreness. You can soak your whole body in hot water and then gently pat the sore muscles to relieve the symptoms of soreness.
3. Physical therapy: you can do some massage or give physical therapy such as infrared and ultra-short wave, etc., which can promote local blood circulation, accelerate the metabolism of lactic acid accumulation, and can relieve the symptoms of aches and pains.
4. Drug treatment: If the pain is more serious, you can rely on oral non-steroidal drugs such as celecoxib, rosoprofen sodium and other treatments, which can effectively relieve the symptoms of generalized pain.
If the above methods can not be relieved, there may be other causes, should be timely to the hospital for examination.
