Is the left adnexal cyst cancerous?

Most cysts in the left adnexal region are benign tumors. If they are malignant tumors or cancers, ultrasound will reveal cystic echoes or mixed echoes, and most of them will not have cystic echoes. The cysts in the left adnexa may be localized plasma cysts, mucous cysts, or chocolate cysts in the ovary, or they may be similar to cysts caused by localized fluid accumulation in the fallopian tube, which is recommended to be analyzed accordingly with the clinical history. However, no matter which kind of pathologic cysts, it is recommended to give surgical treatments when necessary, and the resected tumors will be sent to the pathology labs for pathological diagnosis. The tumor will be sent to pathology for diagnosis, and the next step of treatment will be decided according to the pathologic diagnosis.
