1. Physiological: due to a one-time drinking too much water, or eating too fast may cause gastric distension; at this time can be appropriate exercise (such as walking), promote water evaporation and metabolism can be relieved, but daily attention should be paid to not a one-time large amount of water.
2. Pathologic:
(1) Chronic gastritis can cause gastrointestinal peristalsis to slow down, causing gastric distension after drinking a lot of water, which can be accompanied by acidity, nausea and so on. Commonly used drugs are acid inhibitors such as famotidine and gastrointestinal stimulants such as panadolone; for Helicobacter pylori infection, take 1 proton pump inhibitor (such as omeprazole) + 2 antibiotics (such as amoxicillin, clarithromycin) + 1 bismuth agent (such as bismuth potassium citrate).
(2) Functional dyspepsia itself is characterized by belching, lack of appetite, and slow gastrointestinal peristalsis, which can irritate the gastrointestinal area causing bloating after drinking large amounts of water. Commonly used drugs include pro-gastrointestinal power drugs such as mosapride, acid inhibitors such as lansoprazole, and digestive enzyme preparations.
