How does a man check his sperm

Sperm checking for men is mainly done by collecting semen specimens for appropriate examination, including examination of sperm quality, quantity, vitality and malformation rate.
The semen specimen should be abstained from sex for 2-7 days before collection, including no sexual intercourse, no masturbation, no spermatozoa, and so on. If multiple specimen collections are required, the duration of abstinence should be as consistent as possible each time. Specific methods of semen collection include the masturbation method, condom method, and prostate massage method.
The specimen should be sent for examination in a timely manner after collection and the time of collection should be indicated; within 30-60 minutes, the results of the examination are more accurate. The specimen container should be kept in an environment of 20-37℃ to avoid excessive temperature changes, which may affect the spermatozoa. Also spermatogenesis is highly variable and a diagnosis cannot be made on the basis of one test result alone.
When there is a suspected abnormal test result, the specimen should be collected again for testing at an interval of 7-14 days, and 2-3 consecutive tests should be conducted to obtain a more correct result. If the specimen is incomplete, it should be re-collected for testing after 2-7 days.
Men checking sperm should go to the urology department or the male department of a specialized hospital for examination, and if any abnormality is found, it should be promptly treated under the guidance of a professional doctor.
