When it’s cold, can you really get arthritis without wearing fall pants?

When the weather is cold, many people in the circle of friends say this: there is a kind of cold called not wearing autumn pants. Mom said that not wearing autumn pants will get arthritis, it’s cold, do you wear autumn pants? Is it true that you can get arthritis if you don’t wear them? Osteoarthritis Osteoarthritis is caused by the cartilage of the joints. Age is the main factor. As we grow older, the cartilage, which acts as a cushion, loses its elasticity after a long period of friction and cannot continue to protect the bones. In addition to the main age factor, cartilage nutrition, metabolic abnormalities, obesity, incorrect exertion or exercise that increases the load on the joint, stress balance imbalance, trauma, etc. are also factors that cause osteoarthritis. Cold, on the other hand, is not, except to say that it is possible that cold is a predisposing factor and that you yourself have osteoarthritis, which usually causes synovitis, which is very sensitive to cold and can be painful once you are cold. Age, gender, obesity, and excessive weight-bearing exercise can all contribute to the development and exacerbation of osteoarthritis in the lower extremities. There is no direct relationship between cold, exposure to cold and the onset of osteoarthritis. A survey done in four regions of China, including northeast and south China, found that the incidence of osteoarthritis in people in cold regions is not higher than in other regions, and there is no necessary connection between wearing or not wearing autumn pants and developing osteoarthritis. However, patients with osteoarthritis are more sensitive to cold. If you have osteoarthritis and do not pay attention to proper warmth and add clothing in time, it can lead to painful episodes and aggravation of your condition. So when should I wear autumn pants? 1.The lowest temperature is below 10℃. As the temperature decreases, the autumn pants should also be appropriately thickened. 2.Self-perception of whether the legs are cold. People who are late to recover from the normal temperature after coming back from the outdoors, often sedentary or with poor peripheral circulation, such people should immediately wear autumn pants and thick socks, and soak their feet in hot water for 15 minutes every day before going to bed. 3, the elderly and arthritis patients, Yang deficiency body groups, pregnant women, etc. Warm reminder: autumn and winter due to lower temperatures, skin vascular contraction, resulting in poor blood circulation, so the inflammatory factors that would otherwise be carried away by the blood will be localized in the joint aggregation, resulting in pain. If you have osteoarthritis, you should keep warm and add clothes in time, otherwise the cold weather outside will lead to pain attacks and aggravation of the condition.
