How long do you expect to live with mid-stage breast cancer?

The approximate length of time you can live with mid-stage breast cancer is not generalizable and depends largely on the severity of the disease and the treatment. Some patients may survive for 1~2 years, while some may get a lifelong cure without recurrence. Intermediate stage breast cancer usually has axillary lymph node metastasis, and patients with aggressive preoperative adjuvant therapy have a good chance of achieving radical surgical resection. To delay the recurrence and progression of the patient, after surgery, the patient should also undergo adjuvant chemotherapy and endocrine therapy, so as to prolong the survival of the patient through comprehensive means. If the patient is not active in treatment and metastasis occurs after surgery, the survival time is relatively short, usually around 1~2 years. Breast cancer patients should have a balanced diet in their daily life, eat more food rich in calories and appropriate protein, rich in vitamins and easy to digest, and can have appropriate exercise to enhance their physical fitness.
