After diagnosis of hepatic flexure polyps, active treatment is needed, and common treatment methods are mainly surgical treatment, and surgical treatment is also based on the size of different polyps to choose different surgical methods. Endoscopic resection is usually performed for broad-based adenomatous polyps that have tips or are less than 2 centimeters in diameter, and biopsy is performed to rule out the possibility of malignancy; while laparoscopic resection is usually performed for larger polyps that cannot be removed endoscopically to relieve intestinal stenosis and obstruction symptoms. It is recommended that patients suffering from hepatic flexure polyps should go to the hospital in time, complete endoscopy and other related examinations, and actively cooperate with the doctor’s treatment. Doctors will adopt different surgical methods according to the different sizes and pathologic types of polyps.
