What are the precursors and symptoms of breast cancer brain metastasis? How to confirm the diagnosis?

1.What are the symptoms of breast cancer brain metastasis? The most common symptom of breast cancer brain metastasis is cranial hypertension, which mainly manifests as headache, nausea and vomiting, and in severe cases, drowsiness and other symptoms. Brain metastases from breast cancer may also show symptoms related to neuronal provocation, such as epilepsy, and local neurological damage, such as weakness or hemiparesis, aphasia, abnormal sensation, visual field loss and ataxia. 2.How to confirm the diagnosis of breast cancer brain metastasis? What tests are required? The diagnosis of breast cancer brain metastasis should be confirmed by cranial CT or cranial MRI. Cranial CT can be used as primary screening or emergency examination to detect metastasis and its surrounding edema, metastatic stroke (intratumoral hemorrhage), brain herniation and obstructive hydrocephalus. Cranial MRI, especially enhanced MRI, is more sensitive and should be the first choice for diagnosing brain metastases from breast cancer. It can clearly identify brain parenchymal metastases, dural metastases, soft meningeal metastases or ventricular meningeal metastases (cancerous meningitis) and cremaster metastases, and can also differentiate from other types of lesions.
