Is chest tightness a new coronavirus?

Patients with chest tightness alone and no history of exposure to an infected area are often not considered to have novel coronavirus pneumonia. However, if a patient has a history of exposure to an infected area and presents with chest tightness, a possible novel coronavirus infection is considered. Although fever, malaise, and dry cough are the main manifestations of novel coronavirus pneumonia, some patients may also have cardiovascular system symptoms as the first manifestation, such as heartburn and chest tightness. Therefore, it is recommended that patients should undergo a comprehensive analysis through epidemiological history, clinical manifestations, electrocardiogram, chest CT, novel coronavirus nucleic acid test and other laboratory tests to make a clear diagnosis.
