What are polyps on the liver?

Polyps on the liver may be caused by poor cholesterol metabolism, chronic inflammatory stimulation, developmental abnormalities and so on. 1. Poor cholesterol metabolism: due to the dysfunction of bile secretion by liver cells, the total bile acid level decreases and the overall cholesterol level increases, which leads to cholesterol precipitation and the formation of sterol polyps. 2. Chronic inflammatory stimulation: it may be caused by irregular diet, which may induce mucosal hyperplasia, and the hyperplastic mucosa protrudes and enlarges, which will form inflammatory polyps. 3. Developmental abnormalities: may be caused by developmental abnormalities, the gallbladder epithelium and smooth muscle hyperplasia caused by the gallbladder cavity occlusion of the formation of polyps. Polyps on the liver, need to go to the hospital for diagnosis and timely treatment, so as not to miss the condition.
