How to treat pediatric diarrhea with Chinese Tuina?

Pediatric diarrhea is the second most common disease after respiratory tract infections and belongs to the category of “diarrhea” in Chinese pediatrics. In summer and autumn, when the weather is hot and cold, there will be more children with diarrhea. Recently, we have received two cases of pediatric diarrhea, which were treated with TCM Tuina, with remarkable results. Pediatric diarrhea is divided into cold and damp diarrhea, damp and hot diarrhea, wounded food diarrhea, spleen deficiency diarrhea and other types. Since cold-damp diarrhea is more common in summer and autumn, we will briefly introduce the Tui-Na method for this type of diarrhea. Treatment: Strengthening the spleen and stomach, warming the middle and dispersing cold. Acupuncture points and techniques: tonifying the spleen meridian 150 times, pushing the large intestine 100 times, rubbing the navel 150 times, pushing San Guan 200 times, rubbing the outer labor palace 200 times, pushing the upper seven bones 150 times, rubbing the tail of the turtle 100 times, pressing and rubbing the foot three li 50 times, and vibrating the abdomen (including the points of the middle epigastrium, Qihai and Tianshu). Add or subtract from the treatment: for vomiting, add 300 times pushing the lower Tianzhu bone, 150 times rubbing the middle epigastrium, for abdominal pain and intestinal tinnitus, add 100 times rubbing a nest of wind, take the belly corner 3 times, and for physical weakness, add 3-6 times of chiropractic. Treat once a day for six days. During the treatment period, all Chinese and Western medicines can be stopped, and only some liquid food should be fed, not too full and too hungry. If there is mild dehydration, the child can be given oral sugar saline to replenish body fluids. (The preparation method is 500ml of clean boiled water + 10g of sugar + 1.75g of fine salt).
