How long it takes for a thyroid lumpectomy wound to fully recover is related to the patient’s own physical condition, and different patients have different recovery times. Generally, the wound recovers between one month and two months after thyroid lumpectomy; however, poor nutritional status or postoperative infections in diabetic patients may result in delayed healing. The patient had endoscopic surgery, endoscopic surgery incision is small and fast recovery, usually about 1 week after surgery; postoperative attention to strengthen the care, to protect the incision clean, to avoid infection; however, poor nutritional status, or diabetic patients with unstable postoperative glucose control, is not conducive to the wound healing, in which case, the wound recovery time will be delayed. If the wound healing is delayed, it is recommended to go to the relevant department of the regular hospital immediately; do not deal with it blindly, so as not to aggravate the condition.
