What is the difference between Shu Liver and Stomach Pill and Shu Liver and Stomach Pill?

Shu Liver and Stomach Pill and Shu Liver and Stomach Pill are different in drug composition and main treatment. Shu Liver and Stomach Pill, composed of Hou Pu (made of ginger), Xiang Fu (made of vinegar), Bai Shao (fried with bran), Chai Hu (made of vinegar), Qing Pi (fried with vinegar), Citrus aurantium, Chen Pi, Sandalwood and Cardamom. Indications: Shu Liver and Stomach Pill is used for the distension and fullness of both hypochondrium, pain in stomach and epigastric region caused by the disharmony between liver and stomach, loss of appetite, eructation (hiccup) and vomiting, and bowel disorders. Shu Liver and Stomach Strengthening Pill is used for stomach and epigastric distension and pain caused by disharmony between liver and stomach, fullness in the chest and ribs, vomiting and acid swallowing (swallowing the acid in the stomach that goes up to the oropharynx), abdominal distension and constipation. Shu Liver and Stomach Pill is contraindicated in pregnant women. It should be noted that if patients need to use Shu Liver and Stomach Pills or Shu Liver and Stomach Pills, they need to use them under doctor’s supervision.
