How to regulate women’s sweating

Women sweating commonly use Chinese herbal remedies to regulate their sweating, which usually include qi-benefiting and surface-fixing medicines, yin-nourishing and fire-reducing (nourishing the yin essence and lowering the fire) medicines, and qi-nourishing and yin-supporting (replenishing the qi and yin fluids) medicines. 1. Drugs that benefit qi and consolidate the exterior: they are used to treat the symptoms of qi deficiency (weakness of the body’s qi, leading to insufficient consolidation), mainly spontaneous sweating (involuntary sweating during the daytime, aggravated by the slightest movement of sweating), but also night sweating (abnormal sweating after going to sleep, but sweating stops after waking up). Yupingfeng Granules are commonly used. 2. Yin nourishing and fire-lowering (nourishing Yin essence and lowering fire) medicine: used for Yin deficiency and fire-exuberance (deficiency of Yin essence in the body and hyperactivity of deficiency fire), with predominantly spontaneous sweating, emaciation and five heart-quietness and heat (heat in the hearts of the hands and feet, and self-consciousness of heat in the heart and chest), and thirst or irregular menstruation. Turtle Gum and Yin Nourishing Granules are commonly used. 3. Qi and yin nourishing (tonifying qi and yin) medicines: used in cases of qi and yin deficiency (deficiency of both qi and yin), with night sweating and spontaneous sweating, low-grade fever and shortness of breath, as well as fatigue and malaise. If medication is needed to regulate the condition, it should be used under the guidance of a doctor, and should not be used blindly on its own to avoid adverse consequences.
