Urinalysis test is through the urine chemical analysis, such as analyzing the amount of red blood cells, protein, glucose, leukocytes, etc. in the urine to initially check and evaluate the urinary tract lesions and other diseases on the urinary system. 1. Red blood cells: can be based on the peroxidase reaction of hemoglobin to detect the content of red blood cells in the urine, generally positive suggests hematuria. If hematuria is accompanied by red rash and arthritis, it may be systemic lupus erythematosus; if hematuria is accompanied by low back pain, it may be urinary stones; if hematuria is accompanied by fever, it may be urinary tract infection. Painless hematuria needs to be alert to the possibility of uroepithelial tumor. 2. Protein: urine protein test is usually negative, but may appear transiently positive after strenuous exercise. If persistently positive with fever, it may be urinary tract infection; if persistent, it may be caused by chronic nephritis. 3. Glucose: usually negative, but if positive, diabetes mellitus should be considered. 4. White blood cells: mainly used to check whether there is a urinary tract infection, such as positive is generally considered the presence of infection. Urine analysis is mainly to assist in the diagnosis of disease, disease diagnosis also needs to be combined with the systemic condition and other tests, if found abnormal, should go to the regular hospital in time for examination and treatment.
