Multiple nodules and solitary nodules in the breast are all occupying lesions that occur in the breast, depending on the morphology of the nodule. Multiple nodules are more often benign, showing multiple hypodense or uniformly dense lesions in the gland, usually with a smooth surface or intact envelope, while solitary nodules are both benign and malignant, and solitary nodules are commonly malignant, especially if they occur in the outer upper quadrant of the breast, which is very serious. In this case, the nodule may also be treated with surgery, which is an active option for radical excision. If multiple nodules appear to be progressively larger and more painful, and if there is no significant improvement after conservative treatment, they are relatively serious and may require surgery if necessary.
