About 10% of patients with lymphoma have itchy skin, which has the following characteristics: 1) smooth skin surface, no rash or skin damage, and itchy skin that worsens and recurs at night when resting; 2) itchy skin that worsens after drinking alcohol and gets significantly better after using hormone-containing drugs. Repeated itching of the skin does not necessarily mean that the patient is suffering from lymphoma. Patients who have itching of the skin must go to a regular hospital dermatology department or lymphoma specialist for diagnosis and differentiation.
