Dietary modifications for breast disease

  ”Doctor, what should we eat now? Is there anything we can’t eat?” This is the most common question asked by patients during outpatient clinics. In fact, the dietary regulation of breast diseases is nothing but three principles.
  1, a balanced diet, eat something of everything.

  The diet during chemotherapy should be rich and varied, pay attention to the color, aroma and taste of the food to enhance appetite; the diet should be soft and easy to digest, with fewer and more meals; patients should start to eat coarse fiber food and fresh vegetables and fruits before chemotherapy, and drink more water.

  Ingredients: Astragalus membranaceus, smallpox powder 10g each, Angelica sinensis 5g
  Directions: Decoct the above 3 medicines with appropriate amount of water for 20 minutes, take the juice and boil the congee with round-grained rice, mix with brown sugar and take. Take twice daily.
  Effects: Benefiting Qi, invigorating blood circulation, suitable for mastitis ulceration period.
  Healing period after ulceration
  Stewed Pigeon with Radix Angelicae Sinensis
  Ingredients: 15g angelica, 30g astragalus, 1 pigeon, chicken soup.
  Method: Wash and slice angelica and astragalus, put them into a gauze medicine bag and tie the bag tightly; clean the squab, blanch it in a pot of boiling water for a moment, take it out and transfer it to a simmering casserole, add water, put angelica and astragalus into the medicine bag, boil it on high heat, add a little wine, change to low heat and stew for 1 hour, take out the medicine bag, add chopped onion, ginger, and chicken soup, etc., continue to cook it on low heat until the squab is cooked and rotten, and the soup is thick and fragrant.
  Efficacy: replenish qi and nourish blood, for mastitis patients with postpartum qi and blood deficiency who have difficulty closing their mouths for a long time after ulceration.
