There are two types of postoperative joint effusion. The other type is reactive effusion, which is caused by joint implantation and the body’s reaction to foreign body (joint is foreign body), and can be treated by joint aspiration and drug application. As for amputation, only severe joint infection or recurrent infection causing severe joint dysfunction should be considered, and limb preservation is still the first choice.
