Cervical spondylosis belongs to the category of “paralysis” and “vertigo” in Chinese medicine. Commonly used Chinese medicine types of cervical spondylosis are wind-cold paralysis, labor injury and blood stasis, deficiency of liver and kidney. 1. Wind-cold paralytic obstruction: this type can be caused by living in wetlands for a long time or often sleeping on the back of the shoulder exposed to cold and dampness, resulting in soreness of the back of the feet, cervical spine stiffness, limited mobility, and aggravation of the symptoms of cold. 2. Blood stasis due to labor injury: This syndrome can be caused by sitting for a long time and trauma, resulting in pain and stiffness in the cervical vertebrae, localized pressure and pain, aggravated by exertion, and other symptoms. 3. Deficiency of the liver and kidneys: In addition to neck and shoulder pain and limitation of movement, this syndrome can be accompanied by lumbar and knee pain, menstrual disorders, dizziness, tinnitus and other symptoms. Patients with cervical spondylosis are advised to go to the hospital actively for treatment. If medication is needed, it should be identified by a doctor and standardized treatment should be followed.
