Soft stools are mainly caused by the body’s intake of food containing a lot of water, such as fruit juice, porridge, vegetable soup and so on. When defecating, the water in the digestive tract increases relatively, and the water content of the stool increases, resulting in soft stools. This is a normal physiological phenomenon.
