Weaning how to wean

The ideal time to wean your baby is from 1-2 years old, when the amount of breast milk production and the nutrients in the milk are slowly decreasing, and your baby’s sucking needs are also decreasing. The specific methods of weaning are as follows: 1. Gradually reduce the number of breastfeeding sessions: When you start weaning, you can first give your baby one less breastfeeding session per day, while increasing the amount of complementary foods added. After a week or so, if the baby and mother have adapted, you can try again to reduce one breast milk and increase the amount of complementary foods, and so on, slowly transition; 2. Some parents let their babies sleep with their nipples in order to avoid crying, so they should quit this bad habit to help their babies wean. In addition, when weaning due to the role of female hormones, milk is still being secreted, and if milk accumulates in the breasts for a long time, breast problems such as breast sagging and mastitis will easily occur, so it is important to take good local care of it.
