What to do about glioblastoma headaches

Glioblastoma headache can be improved by general treatment, drug treatment and surgery.
1. General treatment: patients should try to rest in bed, avoid exertion and emotional stimulation, so as not to aggravate the symptoms.
2. Drug treatment: elevated intracranial pressure is the most common cause of glioblastoma headache, headache can be relieved by taking painkillers such as tramadol, fentanyl, codeine and so on. If renal function is normal, intravenous mannitol can be injected to reduce intracranial pressure.
3. Surgery: The pressure of glioma on normal brain tissue is the root cause of headache, so surgery can be actively carried out to remove the tumor as far as possible to relieve headache symptoms. After surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy, electric field treatment and other comprehensive treatment measures can be supplemented.
If the patient’s headache cannot be relieved or worsens suddenly, he needs to consult a doctor in time for targeted treatment.
