A novel coronavirus cough will cause a tickling throat, but not in all patients. Patients with mild cases have only a mild fever and cough, causing symptoms similar to those of the common cold and laryngitis, and will develop a tickling cough throat. Novel coronavirus pneumonia is still characterized by fever, malaise, dry cough, and progressive respiratory distress. In severe cases, acute respiratory distress syndrome, septic shock, uncorrectable metabolic acidosis, and bleeding and clotting dysfunction may occur, and a few patients may be critically ill or even die.
