In modern life, back and leg pain is a common disorder, which brings various inconveniences to people’s life and work. Most of the pain in the lower back and legs is caused by herniated discs in the lumbar spine. The human lumbar spine protects the spinal cord and nerve roots of our waist, while the latter manages the movement and sensation of our lower extremities. Due to long-term strain or improper movement, it is very easy to cause the protrusion of the lumbar disc and compression of the spinal cord and nerve roots, which can lead to pain in the lower back and legs and inconvenience in movement, or paralysis in severe cases. In the past, conservative treatment methods such as surgical resection or massage were often used for such diseases, but the surgical method is very damaging, risky, slow to recover, and may leave sequelae, while conservative treatment is unable to cut off the root. Now we can use minimally invasive interventional technology, using the latest introduction of our intervertebral disc rotary cut aspirator, just under the DSA machine X-ray positioning, “hit” a needle, put a thin tube, cut off the protruding disc and through the catheter suction out, can completely solve the disease. This treatment has the advantages of less damage, less risk, and the patient can recover and be discharged after only about 3 or 4 days of hospitalization and observation, and the efficacy is good (the efficiency is more than 90%, and the incidence of sequelae is about 0.2%), and the effect is almost “immediate”, and the cost is low.
