Effects of Tylenol Phenomethamine Tablets

  Phenomethamine Tablets are used for the treatment and relief of fever, headache, aching limbs, sneezing, runny nose, nasal congestion, cough and sore throat caused by common cold or influenza.  The main ingredients of Phenomethamine Tablets are acetaminophen 325mg, pseudoephedrine hydrochloride 30mg, dextromethorphan hydrobromide 15mg, chlorpheniramine maleate 2mg. acetaminophen can inhibit the synthesis of prostaglandins and produce antipyretic and analgesic effects. Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride can selectively constrict the blood vessels of the upper respiratory tract, eliminate mucosal congestion in the nasopharynx, and relieve nasal congestion, runny nose and sneezing. Dextromethorphan hydrobromide can inhibit the cough center and produce cough suppressant effect, which takes effect 30 minutes after oral administration and lasts for 6 hours.  Chlorpheniramine maleate is an antihistamine that can eliminate or reduce allergic symptoms such as lacrimation, runny nose and sneezing caused by cold. Overdose, or serious adverse reactions require immediate medical attention.
