The development of oral implant technology has been very rapid in recent years, but the books combining imaging and implantology are still blank. Since 2009, cone beam CT has been recognized in China, and many hospitals have purchased or are ready to purchase it, but the consequent problem is the lack of necessary knowledge of implantology imaging. As a teaching book for undergraduate and postgraduate students of dentistry and a reference book for those engaged in basic and clinical scientific research of dentistry, the demand is high and the publication is urgently desired. Edited by Wang Hu and Ou Guomin, “Oral Implant Imaging (Fine)” mainly covers the imaging technology methods of oral implantology, focusing on the important imaging anatomical structures of the oral cavity and their variations, indications and non-indications of maxillary sinus lift, basic imaging knowledge of oral implantology, evaluation of implants in special sites, production of radiographic templates and surgical templates and application of software systems, etc. There are 25 chapters. The book is designed to integrate from theory to practical techniques, from basic to clinical, up and down, to each other. The purpose is to enable readers to learn the basic theory, basic knowledge and basic techniques of dental implant imaging, and to lay a solid foundation for engaging in dental implant medicine, teaching and research.
