Precise and safe femtosecond laser cataract surgery

Cataract surgery with the femtosecond laser is a completely blade-free procedure! The corneal incision configuration is reasonable, with good confinement, and the anterior capsule of the lens can be sown with a precise diameter, centered, and matched with the IOL. It is also possible to fragment the nucleus, which significantly reduces the difficulty of surgery. This is the first femtosecond laser cataract surgery I did. The patient was a Libyan embassy staff member with more than 700 reading astigmatism, and her vision had been very poor and difficult to correct. Through femtosecond laser cataract surgery, implantation of Toric IOL for astigmatism correction, femtosecond laser corneal correction for astigmatism, etc., only 150 degrees of astigmatism remained after surgery! Naked eye vision 0.8, corrected up to 1.2!
