Enlarged lymph nodes are not significantly related to joint pain, and joint pain does not usually cause enlarged lymph nodes.
Most joint pain is caused by having inflammation of the joints. Arthritis can be both infectious and non-infectious. Non-infectious is caused by prolonged overexertion, while infectious is caused by bacteria and other infectious agents, and usually presents with pain and swelling that can interfere with normal activities.
Lymph node enlargement is usually caused by localized lymphadenitis, lymph node tuberculosis, and lymph node tumors, some of which may be locally painful.
