If a woman has yellowish leucorrhoea and back pain, the following causes should be considered: 1. Consider cervical-related diseases, as leucorrhoea is secreted by the cervical glands and the vaginal wall. When there is a lesion in the cervix, the leucorrhoea will increase and there will be a yellowish colour and a bad smell. Cervical lesions can lead to back pain and abdominal distention. 2. Pelvic diseases, such as chronic pelvic inflammatory disease or acute pelvic inflammatory disease. When there is pelvic inflammatory disease, the pelvic tissues are congested and the cervix of the uterus is also congested, which can irritate and cause an increase in cervical secretions. Patients with uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts and acute vaginitis are also prone to increased leucorrhoea, lumbar pain and swelling.
