Tubal ligation is a relatively safe birth control measure. Possible complications include bleeding or hematoma, infection, injury and tubal recanalization. Tubal ligation can block the encounter between sperm and egg, so as to achieve the purpose of contraception, generally there is no obvious harm, but need to be alert to the surgical operation brought about by the undesirable complications such as hematoma of the abdominal wall, infection, injury and recanalization. 1. Bleeding hematoma: excessive stretching damages the fallopian tube or tubal mesosalpinx blood vessels, causing intra-abdominal blood accumulation or hematoma. 2. Infection: including local infection and systemic infection, the cause of infection is that the original infection in the body has not been controlled, sterilization is not strict or the concept of asepsis in surgical operation is not strong. 3. Injury: the bladder and intestinal tube may be injured during the operation. 4. Recanalization: there is 1-2% recanalization rate after tubal ligation.
