What are the six estrogen tests

The six sex hormone tests include: follicle stimulating hormone (FSH), luteinizing hormone (LH), estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, and prolactin, etc. The physiological role of FSH is to promote follicle maturation and secretion of estrogen, while the physiological role of LH is to promote ovulation and luteinization of the ovary to induce the corpus luteum to secrete estrogen and progesterone. Prolactin is a peptide protein hormone secreted by the prolactin cells of the pituitary gland and is regulated by both hypothalamic prolactin-inhibiting hormone and prolactin-releasing hormone. Estrogen in women is mainly produced by the ovaries and can respond to the function of the ovaries. Progesterone in women is also mainly produced by the ovaries, and to a lesser extent by the placenta and adrenal cortex, while androgens are mainly secreted by the ovaries and adrenal cortex.
