What is a tiny nodule in the right lung tip?

Microscopic nodules in the right lung apex are usually detected by high-resolution CT of the chest and are clinically classified as ground glass nodules, partially solid nodules and solid nodules. Micro nodules generally smaller than 5mm are chronic lung infections without clinical manifestations and do not require special treatment, and only require dynamic 1-year follow-up chest high-resolution CT to assess whether the micro nodules have ever grown. If the nodule is between 6-8 mm, a follow-up chest high-resolution CT once every 3 months is needed. If the nodule is larger than 8 mm, further chest enhancement CT examination is needed to assess the possibility of cancer. In conclusion, right apical nodules are usually benign and do not have clinical manifestations, so they do not need special treatment and only need dynamic high-resolution CT follow-up.
