What are the symptoms of Rosacea

Rosacea is a common inflammatory skin disease, and its symptoms mainly include paroxysmal flushing, persistent erythema, papules and pustules, capillary dilatation and hyperplasia. 1. Paroxysmal flushing: Flushing and swelling of the skin can occur when encountering temperature changes, sun exposure and emotional factors, which can occur within a few seconds to a few minutes, and can be accompanied by burning and tingling during the onset of flushing. 2. Persistent erythema: Persistent redness of the skin in the middle of the face, which can be aggravated or alleviated by external stimuli, but will not subside completely, is necessary for the diagnosis of rosacea. 3. Papules and pustules: as the disease progresses, on the basis of erythema, dome-shaped red papules and pinpoint-sized superficial pustules may appear around the mouth and nose. 4. Capillary dilatation: mainly present as thin filaments, such as dendrites distributed in the tip of the nose and the two sides of the nose, especially light-skinned patients are more obvious. 5. Hyperplasia: mainly manifested as skin thickening, irregular nodules and hyperplasia on the surface. At first, the skin may appear slightly swollen, the surface is relatively smooth, and gradually form an uneven nodular appearance. In addition, skin sensitivity, edema, dryness and conjunctival congestion of the eyelids and other uncomfortable symptoms can also occur.
