What does hpv61 positive mean?

A positive HPV61 indicates a vaginal or cervical HPV61 infection and there is a relationship between HPV61 positivity and the development of genital warts. If genital tract warts of the vulva, vagina, or cervix are ruled out by routine gynecologic examination, cervical TCT is performed. If the TCT test result is negative and simple HPV61 positive, it is recommended to exercise properly to strengthen the resistance and repeat HPV monitoring after six months or one year, most of them can turn negative. If the result of cervical TCT is positive, it is recommended to refer for colposcopy. Based on the result of colposcopy, it is decided whether to perform cervical biopsy, and cervical pathology is the gold standard for diagnosing cervical disease. Because cervical cancer is a preventable and treatable disease, and its onset is stage-specific, cervical cancer screening is especially important.
