What are the effects of Chen Pi

Chen Pi has the effects of regulating qi and strengthening the spleen (regulating qi and strengthening the spleen), drying dampness and resolving phlegm (removing phlegm from the body by drying dampness). It has the effect of treating epigastric distension and fullness, poor food and vomiting and diarrhea, cough and phlegm. Chenpi is bitter, pungent and warm in nature. It belongs to lung and spleen meridians. It can regulate qi, strengthen the spleen, dry dampness and dissolve phlegm, and is often used in treating stagnant qi in the spleen and stomach, vomiting, eructation (hiccups), coughing with damp phlegm and cold phlegm, and chest paralysis (stuffy pain in the chest), etc. It is also used in the treatment of pain in the chest.
