In clinical practice, dermatologists will not advise patients to have a mole spotted. Because mole spotting is an irritation to the skin, itself a mole is a benign skin tumor and if it is not irritated, it may not change much in its lifetime. Some people carry moles that are this big all their lives until they are old. However, if the stimulation is not done properly, it is possible that the mole will become malignant and after that, it may cause skin tumor, which will be more than worth the loss. Therefore, for patients who come to the dermatology department to consult with us about mole removal, we always advise them to have their moles removed. If the mole is larger than 5mm in diameter, it has the indication of surgery and needs to be excised by dermatological surgery, and then sutured after excision, so that the skin swelling is completely excised and no base or residue is left, and the skin will not be malignant. Therefore, mole spotting is not reliable.
