What to do if you have bad gums

Bad gums, if the gums are torn or have some defect due to trauma, you need to visit the maxillofacial surgeon promptly to have the torn gums sutured or the defective area closed and sutured. If bad gums refer to ulcers on the surface of the gums, be alert to whether it is ulcerative stomatitis. If it is ulcerative stomatitis, prompt antiviral treatment is required. The duration of the disease is usually slightly longer than that of herpes stomatitis, around 21 days, and the patient is likely to be accompanied by fever and systemic supportive therapy if necessary. Bad gums are likely to have crater-like ulcers on the gum surface, most of which are cancerous in nature and require prompt consultation with oncology.
