Most of the new coronaviruses have no sequelae after cure, while a few may have pulmonary fibrosis, femoral head necrosis, abnormal sense of smell and taste, and so on. At present, most patients with new coronavirus have mild clinical symptoms, most of which can be observed in isolation and generally have no after-effects after cure. However, certain heavy and critical patients may develop pulmonary fibrosis at a later stage due to marked inflammatory exudation from lung tissue as a result of more severe clinical symptoms and relatively more serious damage to organs. Some patients need to use glucocorticoids in large quantities during treatment, which may lead to sequelae of femoral head necrosis. There is also the possibility of residual abnormalities in the sense of smell and taste. The sequelae of neocoronavirus infection are still under clinical observation.
