Male disease lecture DDD oligospermia and weak spermatozoa

With the development of industrialization, the change of people’s habits and lifestyles, as well as some psychological and social factors, human reproductive health is greatly threatened, resulting in an increasing incidence of infertility, which in turn affects family harmony and stability. The incidence of oligospermia and weak spermia is one of the common causes of male infertility, with a prevalence of about 26% according to domestic studies. However, so far, the causes of oligospermia and weak spermatozoa and their pathogenesis are still not very clear, and therefore the treatment effect is not very satisfactory. During the long-term scientific research and clinical practice, we have actively explored and summarized the principles of identification and treatment ideas for the treatment of oligospermia and weak spermatozoa, namely “two principles, one center and three combination models”. The so-called “two principles” refers to the principle of combining “identification of evidence and disease”, that is, when collecting data and analyzing the condition, the signs, symptoms, pulse signs, tongue signs, etc. are summarized and summarized to identify whether they are actual or deficiency evidence, or both deficiency and reality, and then the evidence and The second refers to the principle of combining “traditional and modern”, that is, to link the semen test of modern medicine with the eight syllabuses of traditional Chinese medicine, such as the semen branch indicating weak spermatozoa, which means poor sperm motility. For example, the semen branch indicates weak spermatozoa, which is the poor motility of sperm. According to the theory of Chinese medicine, Yang is active and Yin is static, Qi is Yang and essence is Yin, which implies that weak spermatozoa belong to the category of Yang deficiency and Qi deficiency, and treatment should warm Yang and replenish Qi. For male doctors, this principle of identification is especially important when there is no evidence to identify the dilemma, and it has been used clinically with many successes. The “one-center-three-combination model” refers to the treatment of hypospermia and weak spermatozoa by focusing on tonifying the kidneys and benefiting the spermatozoa, complemented by invigorating the blood, removing blood stasis, clearing heat and dampness, and nourishing the qi and blood. This idea is mainly based on the theory of Chinese medicine that the kidneys store sperm and are the main reproducer. However, it should be borne in mind that the pure deficiency or actual evidence mentioned earlier is rare, but the clinical situation is often mixed with deficiency and reality, cold and heat, etc. Therefore, it is necessary to cooperate with the method of invigorating blood, clearing heat and dampness, tonifying qi and nourishing blood, etc., so as to solve the complicated problem of both types of evidence. In summary, the identification and treatment of hypospermia and weak spermatozoa is systematized and organized according to the “two principles, one center and three combinations model”, which has been clinically applied with many successes. In October 2008, a 38-year-old Liu, who had been infertile for more than 2 years after marriage, was diagnosed with weak spermatozoa after a routine semen examination indicated normal sperm density, with zero class A sperm and 6% class B sperm, and the rest of the examination was normal. After 3 months, the semen examination was completely normal, and now Liu’s wife has been pregnant for more than 3 months. In this time to remind the majority of male friends, fertility is not only an important matter of family life, but also the key to the reproduction of human society, so if conditions permit should try to have children early, early examination, do not wait until the age of 30 or 40 years old to decide to have children. If so, there are at least two drawbacks: First, the quality of sperm decreases to varying degrees with age, and if you suffer from diseases such as epididymitis and orchitis, the situation is even worse; second, it takes a long time for male sperm to be produced, which determines that the treatment of male infertility is a long process, so older infertile men bring many difficulties to treatment, and eventually some men lose the opportunity to have progeny children.
