Aerosol transmission is one of the modes of transmission of infectious diseases, and aerosol transmission of novel coronavirus means that aerosol transmission has some relationship with novel coronavirus. Aerosol transmission refers to the loss of moisture in the air suspension process of droplets, and the remaining proteins and pathogens composed of nuclei, forming droplet nuclei, which can drift to distant places through the form of aerosols, resulting in long-distance transmission. Aerosol transmission of novel coronaviruses is conditional, and there is no confirmation that novel coronaviruses are aerosol-transmissible. The treatment protocols for several versions of novel coronavirus pneumonia in China state that the mode of transmission of novel coronavirus is via respiratory droplets and close contact, which is also the main mode of transmission of novel coronavirus. In a relatively closed environment, the possibility of aerosol transmission exists under prolonged exposure to high concentrations of aerosols, and aerosol transmission will be more widespread and more harmful.
