How to eat Cordyceps

Cordyceps is usually taken by decocting with water or grinding it into powder for brewing, but it can also be used in medicinal diets and as a tea substitute. Cordyceps is sweet and flat. It belongs to the lung and kidney meridians. It has the effect of tonifying the kidney and benefiting the lung, stopping bleeding and resolving phlegm. It is used for kidney deficiency and essence loss, impotence and spermatorrhea, lumbar and knee pain, prolonged cough and asthma, labor and hemoptysis and other diseases. Decoction of Cordyceps is the traditional way of taking Chinese medicine, or Cordyceps can be powdered and taken with boiled water. You can also use medicinal diets and tea substitutes, but note that tea substitutes and medicinal diets often do not bring out the full therapeutic effect of the drug.
