The distribution of acupoints on the arm is mainly the Three Yang Meridians of the Hand, the Three Yin Meridians of the Hand and the Extra Meridian Qi Points.
The three Yang meridians of the hand, i.e., the large intestine meridian of the hand yangming, the Sanjiao meridian of the hand shaoyang, and the small intestine meridian of the hand sun, are distributed on the back of the arm. The Large Intestine meridian is located on the radial edge of the back of the arm, the Sanjiao meridian is located in the middle of the back of the arm, and the Small Intestine meridian is located on the ulnar edge of the back of the arm. The acupoints of these three Yang meridians are distributed on the outer side of the arm.
The three yin meridians of the hand, i.e., the Taiyin Lung Meridian of the hand, the Syncopal Pericardium Meridian of the hand and the Shaoyin Heart Meridian of the hand, are distributed on the palmar surface of the arm. The Lung meridian is distributed on the radial edge of the palm surface of the arm, the Pericardium meridian is distributed in the middle of the palm surface of the arm, and the Heart meridian is distributed on the ulnar edge of the palm surface of the arm. The acupuncture points of these three Yin meridians are distributed on the inner side of the arm.
Extra meridian points are not located on the above six meridians, such as the tip of the elbow and Erbai.
There are many acupoints distributed in the arm, do not do acupuncture or moxibustion on your own to avoid adverse consequences.
