AIDS, antibody co-test 0.208 is not a disease

AIDS, a combined antibody test of 0.208 means negative, not sick. AIDS is a communicable disease caused by the human immunodeficiency virus, which can be transmitted through blood, mother-to-child, and sexual intercourse. HIV testing can be done in a variety of ways. The window period for the 4th generation HIV antibody kit is 3~6 weeks, i.e., the test is started at the 3rd week. Generally between 0 and 1 is considered negative and greater than 1 is considered positive. A combined test of 0.208 for all antibodies is not having the disease. If the test is done in the third week, the titer may not be sufficient and it is recommended to do it again in the 6th week.
