40 weeks is a few months

40 weeks of pregnancy is 10 months of pregnancy and the fetus will be delivered in the near future. For women with regular menstrual cycles, pregnancy is counted from the first day of the last menstrual period and the month plus 9 or minus 3 and the date plus 7 days is the expected date of delivery. Four weeks of pregnancy is one gestational month and 40 weeks of pregnancy is 10 months. Women with irregular periods need to have an ultrasound to estimate the fetal age in months and the expected date of delivery based on the size of the fetal biparietal diameter. A fetus less than 37 weeks of gestational age is considered premature, a fetus between 37 and 42 weeks of gestational age is considered full term, and a fetus older than 42 weeks of gestational age is called overdue. After 37 weeks of gestation, pregnant women should be ready for delivery. After pregnancy, pregnant women should go to the hospital regularly for maternity checkups, ensure sufficient rest and moderate exercise, but avoid overexertion. If you find any pain in the lower abdomen or redness during the period, you should consult the obstetrics and gynecology department promptly.
