What’s wrong with a child who can’t sleep through the second half of the night?

The child’s sleeplessness in the second half of the night may be related to physiological reasons, external factors, lack of nutrients, and so on.
1. Physiological reasons: infants and young children’s brain development has not matured, not formed a regular biological clock, the nervous system excitability at night is high, it is difficult to enter a deep sleep, so that the second half of the night sleep is not solid, as the baby grows up, the phenomenon can be improved on its own.
2. External factors: children eat more at dinner, the burden on the stomach and intestines at night is heavier, with abdominal distension; or babies under 3 months of age may need to feed their babies at night because they are hungry; children use thicker quilts, and their own ability to dissipate heat is poor, so they will not be able to sleep soundly because of the heat.
3. Nutritional element deficiency: when the child is deficient in calcium, the blood calcium in the body will be lowered, which will cause an increase in the excitability of the brain’s vegetative nerves, resulting in easy to startle, and the child will not sleep soundly at night, which may be accompanied by occipital baldness and night sweating (sweating abnormally after going to sleep, and the sweating will stop after waking up), and so on.
There may be other reasons why your child can’t sleep soundly in the second half of the night, so we suggest that you go to the hospital in time, complete the examination to clarify the cause of the disease, and then give targeted treatment under the guidance of the doctor.
