Extranodal nasal nkt cell lymphoma is often staged using Ann Arbor staging, which can be categorized into stages I to IV, group A or group B.
The Ann Arbor staging of extranodal nkt cell lymphoma is based on the extent of lesion involvement in the upper and lower regions of the diaphragm and the involvement of organs other than lymph nodes.
1. The specific staging criteria are: stage I patients with lesions limited to one lymph node region; stage II patients with lesions involving two or more lymph nodes on the same side of the diaphragm; stage III patients with lesions involving both the upper and lower diaphragm regions; and stage IV patients with lesions involving one or more extranodal organs, or liver or bone marrow involvement.
2. Extranodal nasal nkt cell lymphoma is classified as group A or group B according to the presence or absence of night sweats, unexplained fever and wasting. Patients with one of the above symptoms are classified as group B, while those without the above symptoms are classified as group A. It is recommended that patients with extranodal nkt cell lymphoma be classified as group A or B.
It is recommended that patients with extranodal nkt-cell lymphoma should go to the Department of Hematology for timely consultation, complete bone marrow aspiration and biopsy, PET-CT and other examinations, and then be staged and evaluated by specialists according to the results of the examination, so as to formulate an individualized treatment plan.
