High eosinophils and high ratios may be associated with allergic diseases such as bronchial asthma, parasitic diseases such as schistosomiasis, skin diseases such as eczema, and hematologic diseases such as chronic myeloid leukemia. 1. Allergic diseases. Eosinophils are involved in the body’s allergic reaction, when the body suffers from bronchial asthma, urticaria, food allergy and other diseases, it can cause eosinophil reactivity to rise. 2. Parasitic diseases. Eosinophils have the function of killing parasites, when the body suffers from schistosomiasis, ascariasis, hookworm disease and other parasitic diseases, it can cause eosinophil elevation. 3. Skin diseases. Eczema, psoriasis, exfoliative dermatitis and other skin diseases can cause peripheral blood eosinophils to increase. 4. Blood diseases. Chronic myeloid leukemia, chronic eosinophilic leukemia and other hematological diseases, can appear abnormal proliferation of bone marrow, causing increased eosinophils. In addition, certain lymphoma, multiple myeloma and other malignant tumors, rheumatic diseases, hypoadrenocorticism and so on can also cause high eosinophils. When eosinophils are found to be high, you should consult a doctor in time, clarify the cause under the doctor’s guidance, and follow the doctor’s instructions for treatment.
