Flat warts are a common skin disease caused by human papillomavirus (HPV) with a high recurrence rate. At present, there are several main methods for its treatment: medication, physical therapy and so on. 1. Medication: (1) Vitamin A acid drugs: it has the function of regulating the proliferation and differentiation of keratin-forming cells. At present, it can be treated by applying retinoic acid cream externally. (2) Antiviral drugs: the most commonly used is interferon, which can inhibit viral replication and enhance cellular immune function, thus killing and inactivating the virus. Currently, human interferon alpha-2b injection is commonly used for treatment. 2. Physical therapy: including cryotherapy and laser therapy, is the most commonly used method in the clinic, can eliminate most of the warts.
